Loos Rig Tension Gauge for wire sizes between 2.5mm and 4mm diameter.

An inexpensive yet accurate method of checking cable tension. Ideal for determining loads on sailboat rigging as an aid to boat tuning. A slack rig is more punishing on a hull & spars than a properly adjusted, tight rig by needlessly allowing excessive movement, chafe & shock loading.

Used a great deal by racing sailors, these easy to use gauges will quickly & accurately give you the tension of your rigging, so that you can tune your boat for maximum performance. It will also let you repeat the rig-settings when re-stepping your mast in the spring.
